The last great Chelsea striker. Since he left, Morata, Werner, Jackson, Havertz, Abraham, Lukaku, all underperformed. Giroud was good, but only Diego Costa was great.
It was an out of the blue signing from Jose at the time that no one saw coming but exactly the type of player Jose wanted. It was a match made in heaven… a thorn in the side of every opposition and sometimes a thorn to his own team.
