  1. Notice how the room falls silent when Mourinho talks. Barely anyone trying to sneak a word in or a counter point. The likes of Ferguson, Guardiola and Klopp have it too. There's an aura about them that elevates them to a level above their peers.

  2. I don't think it was a mistake selling Lukaku I just just it was the wrong decision to buy him in the first place. At that time united could have gone for two strikers instead of keeping someone like martial who's completely injured.

  3. It seems to me that Keane, because of all the trophies he won, likes to rub those things in – that Manchester United had amazing players back then, that were big men, won trophies, etc., and that, nowadays, there aren't players like that playing for Man United now.

The fact is that Keane, as great as he was as a midfielder during that period in the 90's that he won so many trophies, there was definitely a time before and after his that didn't win as many trophies – this is what's referred to as the Golden Period for a team.

My favorite team, Boca Juniors, had a Golden Period from the late 90s to the early 2000s, and this was because we had so many things going for us at that time. We had great players that could do their jobs on the pitch, we had a great amount of luck (because every team needs it from time to time), and things went well for us. But this doesn't mean that Boca Juniors is going to win every single trophy there is every single year, but we'll certainly have better chances than other teams to win them if you have the right players.

The same goes for Keane's United compared to Man United now. Every team goes through their hardships, in whatever aspect you can think of, and now may not be the best moment for Man United. Just because a player won trophies doesn't mean that they know EXACTLY what it's going to take to make sure you can win a title. The only thing I can think of to prove a bit of this point would be for Roy Keane to become Manchester United's coach and see what he'd be able to do with them. They can certainly buy the players that he wants for every position, and he "seems" to know what to do to make the team win titles, so how about it? GIve'em a shot.

  4. Mourinho said Maguire, Wan-Bissaka and James. At the time we agreed and thought if only he was still there and got Maguire like he wanted maybe he could have won the league. Perhaps they all ended up so poorly because it was Jose who believed in them and would have made them into great players. Now seemingly they are all flops unfortunately.

  5. Here just for Mourinho ❤️ And I am Manchester United Fan . He will always be special one and I still believe , Board should have supported him during the transfer window in his 3rd year.

  6. This studio was iconic. Two Liverpool legends, one of the greatest managers of all time with one Man Utd legend all discussing everything that's wrong with modern football. Miss this
