  1. I blame Barto for this. He wasted money like there’s no tomorrow. Laporta isn’t a saint. But at least he knows business 101. But I agree. We don’t need Olmo. We already have Fermin. Pedri can also play at Olmo’s position.

  2. Are you thinking about the plethora of young Spanish midfielders coming through led by Gavi and Pedri? Gundogan is injury prone, he's on a big salary, he's just not good for business…

  3. Barcelona is thinking long term not long term. Gondo is amazing yeah. But 2 three years from now he won't be. I get the frustration to say they dropped the ball. But they want fresh faces and young players.

  4. Why do you people behave as if the people who are managing the club were selling doughnuts before they got the positions.
the reason for all this is because their sponsors who would inject money in the club for increase the wage gap didn't deliver simple .

  5. The Bartomeu administration set the bar so low that maybe we are not seeing exactly how lackluster the Laporte one has been, albeit an improvement on the previous regime.

  6. Barca need to stop dping the business they are doing and focus on getting the club financially stable again. Use the pkayers they have and the ones that are within their budget and do they bes they can and if they are careful with their funding in a 5 years they will be in a better place as barca are huge and will generate revenue

  7. Olmo will do more for Barca than Ilkay did. Gundugan wasnt great last season. So more than happy for him to be sold.

Plus it is sensible to replace an old player with a better young player.

  8. I think this was the season they were planning on letting go of De Jong but it backfired due to his injury so something had to be done and Gundo was the sacrifice. Olmo should have been the De Jong replacement. Rumours had already started spreading of De Jong to Manchester United.
