Dest, Adams, McKennie & Reyna give United States NEW HOPE

After 285 days, the US national team is back … for a scoreless draw! Despite the lack of goals, there were plenty of positive signs from the young squad for Andrew, Charlie and David to discuss: Weston McKennie is a boss, Tyler Adams is the No. 6, Sergino Dest has sauce, Yunus Musah might/could/maybe commit his future to the squad and Gio Reyna is full of talent even if the final ball didn’t come off. The guys go through their winners then welcome Fox Sports’ Stu Holden to the show for his USMNT and Audi MLS Cup Playoffs takeaways. Plus, Peter Vermes stops by to talk Sporting Kansas City, soccer during Covid and Alan Pulido’s injury.

  1. Oh yall are bugging.
    Mark McKenzie
    Jordan Morris
    Jozy Altidore
    Ayo Akinola
    James Sands
    Keaton Parks
    Ebobiesse
    Chris Mueller
    Jonathon Lewis
    Sam Vines
Brendon Aaronson (although he'll be at RB Salzburg next season)
    George Bello
    Aaron Long
    Cole Basset
    Paxton Pomykal
    Gyasi Zardes

Are all players that can compete for a spot in this national team.

  2. With Adams, McKennie, and Pulisic all together, you can afford to play a guy like Jordan Morris because he can just focus on using his speed and physicality, and not worry about possessing the ball or creating anything.

  3. I think that Cameron carter vickers should be given a chance because he is a starter for afc Bournemouth in the championship and is also young compared to miazga who had an okay game yesterday

  4. If we're being 100 Charlie, your boy Steffen also had a massive error that could have resulted in a goal. Still think he's the #1, but don't just tell part of the story.

  5. there are some players that did well but lets not forget that none of wales players are playing premier league football. they’re all championship players or lower, huddersfield, cardiff etc. we’re talking kieffer moore and tom lawrence, a squad player for championship sides. musah is a star in the making, i was in reyna hypetrain but i dont think he’s that good he plays like niko krancjar all style little substance. mckennie better than i thought i rate him now, tyler adams is a headless chicken thats why he doesnt start for leipzig. brooks is class defender.

  6. Stop. Just stop doing drugs. The hallucinations of grandeur with the USMNT are real. Get some help and stop dreaming. They are sadly headed to a planet called "mediocrity" at best.

  7. I'm on board with everything chuck said. Who saw that smile on Musahs face when the anthem played? This being Major league soccer… name all the guys who could have lead this line?
