  1. As a West Ham fan i would love to have Declan Rice with us for a few years but his unbelievable talent means that is unlikely. Also i suspect Pep see's him as the ideal replacement for Fernandinho. He mentioned Declan specifically, how impressed he was with him, after our game at the LS.

  2. Anyone that doesnt know how good Fernandinho is, havent really watched him play. Most important player for City. He is the glue and engine that keeps it all together for him. No coincidence they had those losses against Crystal and Leicester when he was out injured.

  3. Kante gets lauded as the best DM in the world but whilst he's a master at what he's good at he's a below average footballer on the ball (often his 2nd touch is a tackle). Much rather have Fernandinho, he's an all round DM, not just a destroyer. The guy is one classy player

  4. City lost their last 2 games without Fernandinho. Shows how massive he is. He is the extension wire from an output to the input like how he brings the ball from the defense to attack. Massively underrated

  5. It’s funny because if he never left chelsea he would probably in the loan army or left or some lower league team. Then people would be saying he’s not good enough. Happy that he’s doing very well at West Ham. Proof that kids just need a chance and a run of games. Mbappe wouldn’t have made it at chelsea if he came thru the cfc academy.

  6. As a city fan it’s nice to hear that a young player like Declan looks up to Fernandinho. Ferna has been one of the best DM’s in the world for years it’s actually shocking how much disrespect I’ve seen about him

  7. I'm almost at the point where I want to say most of you EPL fans are racists. It's definitely the case with black players from South America. Fernandinho deserves a lot of credit for transforming himself into a DM when he spent most of his career as a top box-to-box midfielder. As a DM, especially for a ultra attacking team like City, it will be hard to stop counters without fouling. Even then, Fernandinho is easily the best attacking DM in the premier league. That's why Pep starts him every game. If he were just a hack who fouls players and was an average passer, he'd be nowhere near City's starting lineup.
