Toronto FC acquired forward Dániel Sallói from Sporting Kansas City in February 2026. Since joining Sporting Kansas City as a homegrown player in 2016, Sallói produced 67g/47a in 287 appearances across all competitions. He was their second top scorer and ranks fourth in goal contributions with 114.

Internationally, Sallói has earned four caps with Hungary.

    I swear TFC have given up the most final minute/extra time goals of any team in the MLS….guaranteed no other team has more goals against. How do you not close out the game with seconds left? Gave away 2 points for no reason.

    I didn't watch the game so I'm waiting for the full highlights to see why the ref allowed FIVE MINUTES of added time to extend into EIGHT AND A HALF minutes, when NY scored to tie it and THEN immediately whistled the game finished!
    There was only one substitution in the 93rd minute by NY which doesn't take 3.5 minutes to complete!
    DUMBerican ref cheating to help a DUMBerican team not lose?
