  1. There is no true comparison possible between Pele and Ronaldo. Pele was perhaps the most complete footballing player and athlete of all time. He could score well, pass well, dribble well, tackle and defend well, both feet, good head, brilliant footballing brain and could play in any position on the pitch even goal-keeper almost as well as any other specialist player. Ronaldo is a striker specialist and one of the best ever but he will never be Pele. Pele was also playing with those heavy balls that soaked up the rain and weighed a ton and the laces scarred your forehead if you headed them with a wet ball! I know from experience! I am referring to games in Europe – not much rain in Brazil. Ronaldo could not do what he does with the balls of the Pele, Moore, Charlton era.

  2. Pele 3 World cups
    4 world cups played
    12 goals on world cups

    Ronaldo 0 world cups
    4 world cups played
    3 world cup goals

And Ronaldo was scoring to useless teams like Faroe Islands and Estonia lmao.

So There is no point of comparison PELE is the best player ever.

  3. It's funny reading some of these comments and the hate towards ronaldo.

Not many players have topped Pele record regardless of the national team they play for Ronaldo has achieved it. He takes the lime light because he takes the responsibility on his shoulders and tries. Look at England national team, it's a joke.

    Good on Ronaldo.

  4. Say all you want about how Messi can't score internationally, but when Portugal has a larger variety of weaker opponents in qualifying, unlike CONMEBOL where every team but Venezuela can pull off an upset, yes even Bolivia,Peru, Paraguay, its harder to score goals.
