If we compare Euro officiating and CONCACAF officiating, it’s almost a clear cut message of agenda of keeping your mouth shut when Ronaldo is in Europe and Messi is in South America. How does a captain rule work if Ronaldo is captain and gets carded for frustration and communication. It’s apart of the game. South and North American officiating lets you do that which is more perceived as “passion” shown. Only for certain individuals. (Messi) That match against Chile, at half Messi goes up to the ref and the ref nods in recognition of Messi’s frustrations and ultimately gets Chile out of the game with foul after fouls and not getting one back. The agenda is against Cristiano you almost feel.
