  1. Anyone comparing Landon Donovan to Miroslav Klose because of age is utterly idiotic. They were miles apart on skill, mentality, commitment and overall professionalism. Klose didn't take a sabbatical prior to the biggest competition in football. People say Landon's a legend in US soccer history. I say he'll go down as the biggest cry baby in US soccer history. I've yet to hear anything positive about the USMNT come from this man since his over due retirement. All I hear is Klinnsman this, Klinnsman that….get lost Landycakes, it's not Klinnsman's fault he sensed weakness in you.

  2. Miraslov Klose was 36/38 when he played in last year's FIFA World Cup in Brasil, yet coach Kinsman didn’t want LD to play (why?). Landon Donovan left soccer, not the other way around; he could have played for another 4-5 years but chose not too. Didn't the players get vacation days; he complained about not being able to travel ?!

  3. Booo, LD can still play yet he decided to retire ?! Way to leave your USMNT mates high and dry. In my opinion , LD was pressured to retire (by an unknown entity).
