The coronavirus pandemic could inadvertently lead to a new English super league being created if football does not do enough to support lower league clubs, according to the Sunday Supplement panel.

😭
Most of the clubs and leagues will be dissolved and it can't come soon enough. Money has ruined the game and their own greed and contracts will be the end of them.
Leagues will be insolvent.
What's the point just another way to screw more money of the fans to put in the pockets of multy millionaires and greedy players
I'm hoping if one thing comes out of this horrible situation its that people realise how perthetic football and especially professional footballers have become………..BOYCOTT PREMIER LEAGUE FOOTBALL and support your local non league team or lower league team where the players play for love of the game and not just mercenaries
Hang on a minute… sky are complicit in keeping the premier league rich and pulling up the ladder before any of the other teams get a fair chance to compete at the top table!
Why don't you do more to prop up the lower leagues too?
I'm not even a football fan anymore after you got your grubby mitts all over it and ruined the game!
This crisis will lead to a Minor League and Major League franchised system like Major League Baseball, the 71 professional lower league clubs being majority supported and owned by the top 20 echelon clubs, below that the minor league clubs will affiliate with the National League and lower clubs. That is inevitable with independents existing as rare clubs.
Why is Henry the only one who speaks with any confidence while the other guys sound like they're scared to be on camera
If this is the way Sunday Supplement is going ill stop watching. No need to change the studio, new presenter is awkward, too nervous and doesnt fit the programme. Its a slippy slope and its not going to recover
When did ole get utd going again and why arque about utd leading the way. £100k fot them is nothing
Would love to see a super league but away from the bungling FA and a new body in Europe instead of UEFA
its, leading people into the bullshit garden "lets talk shite , 90 yr old superstar zlatan to join leeds.of course he is its been his dream for years too
Scraping barrel here sky ffs
Said for years footballers should have a % of their wage automatically donated to good causes
It's ironic when sky are the ones responsible for the crazy money in English football now
Premier league clubs should be doing alot more for their local communities anyway and I've been saying it for years. Celtic have done more to help people in our local community than any of the premier league clubs and with only a fraction of the budget aswell
Why doesn’t each premier league club adopt a local club to keep them in business??
Don't be stupid.
Thats right. Fill people minds with utterly irrelevant nonsense at this time of crisis. And no. Its not relief, as you reprehensible sh?that's know full well
Pep gave £1m. Can’t majority of PL players do that without noticing it leaving the bank?
why are clubs charging lower clubs a massive loan fee when the fee should be paid to the loaning club from the top club
How can big teams justify paying millions a week in wages and say there in debt but can't put even half of say pogbas wages to charity
Oli the wankstain holt did his best to get fury into trouble
Holt your typical champagne socialist, playing to the crowd , theiving from others ,to give to the useless.
All Im saying is coronavirus wasnt a concern before jacqui became anchor
"A new English super league" as opposed to what? The one we have now?
Thanks a lot to the person who thinks bats are edible
No
End of
But, will the Sky Sports subscription fee be cut?
…Thought as much.
Perhaps if corporations and wealthy individuals in society were taxed at a much higher level we wouldn't be forced to beg for their charity in times of crisis.
wtf happened to social distancing here?
100,000 from two billionaire owners isn't admirable at all, don't praise that it's embarrassing.
Sky Sports make you cancel subscription during this difficult period but will reactivate it as soon as football returns. Should be the other way round.
Where is the full episode @SkySportsFootball???
Why should the Premier League pay? Surely it should be the F.A
