As a Tico we know we won’t get 6 goals against a strong USA team. We will play for the qualifiers in June. The end goal is just to make it to the World Cup and if we have to play another game after this to make it happen. We will. USA don’t play well in Costa Rica. Could they be the team to finally break that record, maybe. Though I still believe Costa Rica will win 2-1. Both teams are good and both deserve to go to the World Cup.

Great enthusiasm, but the commentators have failed to present more facts here. I don't ever recall the USMNT winning a game in CR's turf. That's says alot considering the US has brought great players collectively/individually to try and win there, and haven't. That being said nothing is written in stone. Could this be their first time winning in CR? Costa Rica may be statistically weaker than the US, but they play their best at home. Bringing down (the 1# team) Canada is a testament to that. Lately the ticos have been on a winning streak, call it luck, call it strategy, they have momentum, they're hungry, and they've proven to be dangerous and can snatch the game from under. The ticos know they are behind and need to win, and with Keylor Navas as their world top goalie, they should not be taken lightly. This game will be interesting for sure.
