  1. Andrew, generally I think you do a good job with these things. But I think you missed the more obvious problem with the Nashville/Revs PK call. Muktard initiated the contact. He reached around the defender attempting to play the ball. Since he initiated the contact then I say no PK and maybe a foul going the other way. It's not clever, it's not a good attacker, it's referees getting suckered into a bad call.

  2. this reviewer totally misses the point. the first foul was clearly a follow through foul, not intentional and should not have decided the game. that is why the ref put it outside the box. this guy is wayyy to hung up on the actual rules , and forgets the unwritten common sense rules in my opinion.

  3. I don't love calling the first one a foul at all–what is a defender supposed to do there? Makes a great tackle on the ball and a limp foot taps the forward who falls down like he just got shot. Incidental contact + extreme embellishment

  4. First one shouldn't even be a foul, great slide tackle gets the ball then there's the slightest touch on the attacker after, if there's any foul it should be on the striker for embellishment

  5. PRO Referees keeps getting creative with its attempts to screw over the Dynamo. I was watching as the VAR official was freezing the play at the wrong moment to try to sell a different point of contact to the ref. It definitely wasn’t a red, Olsen’s wrong about that, but it was absolutely a penalty and a competent refereeing committee would’ve given it.

  6. That first foul looks like it’s inside the box, and I think the footage on the broadcast is the best angle to judge. On video review, the referees should only signal if they’re 100% positive, so I have no clue how it got reviewed!

  7. How are we talking about the location of the touch in the first clip. The defender made an excellent play on the ball. The contact was incidental. The attacker went down easy and pretended to have gotten mugged. You even said that he felt the contact and went down. The only saving grace here is that they pretended the location was a clear and obvious error and made it not a PK.

  8. MLS like many other leagues around the world are full of cry babies that ruin the game!! Stop your acting and play the damn game you fools

  9. Every MLS team has great actors worthy of Oscar nominations, and the refs buy it the majority of the time. It degrades the sport and gives teams wins they don't earn.

  10. FC Dallas and The El Savaldorian national football team have one thing in common. The fact that they both have 2 players sent off in the same half 😂
