Honestly these commentators are oversimplifying it. Leao is "the best" but it's clear he plays his best statistically when he comes off the bench. He struggles to play without external motivation. Conceicao is a good coach but his tactics aren't suited for picking up half way through a season; he is an experimenter and wants to try lots of different players. "Just play your best players who can play 90mins" is like saying a bazooka is good for killing a cow… sure it's the most powerful and effective way to "kill", but you won't have much to take from it after nor would you necessarily achieve the goal of the action.
Im glad the intent is to generate content and discussion, but it is evident that they lack the strenght and team play to reach UCL qualification.
Imagine if Milan make it to top 4 from here, that would be the best comeback ever.

Leao is more talented then Pulisic his numbers should not be the same which is why it’s frustrating…I’m a huge usmnt 🇺🇸 Pulisic fan but talent wise Leao is better on the field past two yrs prolly not. Like Felix they remind me of dembele but he’s doing his thing now…
I find it quite Jarring the fact Mike Grella can be critical of players who are on a level he never achieved.

The problem with Milan is the wrong transfers were made, santi has been useless aside from scoring tap ins that any other player can do, Milan needs a forward that can score from distance, headers, can dribble past players But they chose to bring an average target striker instead of a false 9/ striker. Kerevic was the right option but Milan failed to bring him in, and Felix is 100 percent useless no explanation necessary
They have no chance. It took both Pulisic and Leao to show up just to beat Lecce. They can't do it every game, there's too many holes in the team.

Leao's issue is he's wildly inconsistent. When he's on he's brilliant when he's off he's a hindrance to the team.
Pulisic when he isn't scoring is providing value elsewhere when keao isn't scoring he's moping on the ground after a good tackle crying for penalties and fouls
