  1. As a mother of two sons I’m very touched by this in a good way. I worked my behind off for my kids and it hurt I couldn’t make every game, meet or play or I’d make it at the very end. You are a good son who honors his mother well I salute from all us hard working mothers🫑

  2. πŸ˜”πŸ™πŸΏ AND I WAS A MOM WHO WAS , AND NOT APPRECIATED. DEION I UNDERSTAND SO MUCH ABOUT UR WAY OF THINKING..WISH I KNEW U, TO BECOME MY FRIEND. NOT SURROUNDED BY MANY STRONG/INTELLIGENT BLACK MEN..

  3. Simply put … a great son, father, man and mentor .. his mom raised him right! Ain’t no question why he is so protective of his family!!! Do the math. An amazing mother can create wonders for any child to conquer life and prepare his own to do the same. Blessings to all great moms of every race

  4. No you created an alter ego because it did hurt you. You acted better than everyone and found ways to protect that from exposure. Like at the combine. You didn’t want to compete you felt you were better than everyone so you said. You couldn’t show us? You Showed the world what you were great at only, running. You were a great cover guy. You were faster than most. You were weaker than most too You wore several socks to hide your skinny legs. I remember all these things. Jerry/ fifi said ya legs was skinnier than Joe’s. I remember that too. Get humble. They’re were no big receivers when you played. I can’t think of one good one . A Randy Moss or megatron ; you could never have covered inside of the rules in their day. However it is a great thing to be able to take care of your mother or father. All that is way more important than football period.

  5. IM so glad he didn't hold that against her. ALTHOUGH, I know it may have hurt not to see him & all his activities and in getting his aclaides. It was just as hard for her as well. We as women do whatever it takes to keep the household together . The activities are expensive. Mr. Sanders ( Coach Prime ) you've made her PROUD !!!
HATS OFF TO YOU SIR !!!!!
MAY YOU & YOURS STAY BLESSED πŸ‘πŸ½πŸ‘πŸ½πŸ‘πŸ½πŸ‘πŸ½πŸ™πŸ½πŸ™πŸ½πŸ™πŸ½πŸ™πŸ½β€β€β€

  6. 1st or 2nd "Himothy"?πŸ˜… Knowing Coach Prime, both. Love me some Deion Sanders! His spiritual growth has been remarkable. To whom much is given much is required, and he gives amazingly to the young people in his life! May the Lord continue to bless him!

  7. I wish more kids could achieve that level of understanding when it comes to their parents presence at their events. Sometimes they have to work to provide for you. Give them grace.

  8. So ends would see each other; they never met!! WOW, that really hit me πŸ₯Ί I’m so glad he understood how hard and important her role was and that his dedication and success allowed him to finally make those ends meet in an infinity loop πŸ™ŒπŸΎπŸ™ŒπŸΎπŸ™ŒπŸΎ

  9. Wauw thats crazy… that just goes to show that I wasn't strong enough mentally or emotionally to understand that.

I gave up on sports because nobody from my family was ever there.
But I should've never blamed nobody but myself for quitting, I was suppose to "man up"

  10. Listen to all of you who are paying attention this is a man who had no other father figure in his mother's life to do what he felt he had to do as her son most boys at the age where he decided to make that decision to take care of his mother absolutely correct at their own right but mother's should never depend on their children to be this way

  11. It was struggle time! My Dad saw me play football and basketball! That basketball game it's my 16th bd! My girl is there wit Daddy! I got 20, we won!! Trust me there was a CELEBRATION! Parents separated. Ma had her life, work, work! Boy you playing, I gotta work!
Seeing me play never crossed her mind!
Black kids back then, nobody's Parents black or white was there all the time. It just made us better Parents!!
