Ăste serie, entre AmĂ©rica y Herediano mis amigos es un claro ejemplo de la distancia que existe entre el futbol mexicano y su similar de costa banana. Tanto que se creen esos costa pobretones y su realidad es Ă©sta: De vez en cuando le hacen un buen partido a MĂ©xico y de eso viven dĂ©cadas. In the Azteca it's over. Everyone on Univison and ESPN says that Club America can finish this tournament in leg 1. The quality is too much for Impact. The Azteca and fans themselves is almost a 12 man advantage. Herediano coach said they're not scared of Azteca but damn they were trembling all match to the attack of Oribe, Benedetto, Quintero and the noise of Azteca.

El hobbit, mina, Jean Beausejour we considered to be the best players and yet they didn't and couldn't click in the club
On the other hand there are players like Layun, Raul jimenez, Temo, paul aguilar, sambueza, and more than have been made great by the club. Especially sambueza who was left clubless until America decided to pick him up last minute. And look at him now.
Benedetto was also forgotten and picked up and look at him now. And this game even the young ones are playing. So there is future potential
Yes they have a lot of money and buy great players but they do not forget that they have a team of young players that are bound to be great!
And also, America hasn't been this dominant in a looooong time. So the great DTs have saved this team. And no they didn't buy the best DTs either. They too have been forgotten even though they have had great records. Even when they bought the "best" they failed to performed and instead decided to go back to the basics and get DTs with drive and aggressive play style that America has been greatly known for.
