  1. Stll SAF is better he had a washed team when man u team when he dirst he came to coach them they were struggling meanwhile pep had a decent man city team that had money which he could buy any players he want

  2. It wasn't "easy" though. He completely underestimated the league in his first season then massively overhauled the team. Even last season, he went through the worst period of his career and only just got through it.

His job at Man City wasn't to dominate the league, it was to get bring in as many UCLs as possible.

  3. Ahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha ๐ŸŽถ๐ŸŽถ๐ŸŽถโ€oh sir alex is full of SHIT full of SHIT SHIT and more SHIT oh sir alex is full of SHIT

  4. Iโ€™m sorry but only ever having managed a top team and winning leagues with Bayern Munich, Messi Barca, and city in an era where they had practically unlimited resources does not qualify as best manager ever. Bayern wins the league most years, even pelligrini won the league with city during that time and Messi is Messi not to mention xavi, iniesta, etc.
sorry if some people arenโ€™t impressed by โ€˜number of titlesโ€™

  5. The bias and inaccuracy of these posts is criminal. Sir Alex doesn't have 13 titles, he has 16. So Pep is not so near to equaling his record. And look at who they won those titles with. Aberdeen hadn't won a league title in over 23 years when Sir Alex took over and play in a league dominated by the Old Firm with over 100 titles between then; they were champions again 2 years later and won a European trophy within 5 years, in his time there Aberdeen win the league 3 times – more than they'd ever won it in the club's history! That'd be the equivalent of Pep winning La Liga with Valencia several times and then the UCL. Man Utd had been 19 years without a title when Ferguson took over and were floundering nearer to relegation than title challengers and were significantly behind Liverpool and Arsenal in the all time league title numbers. When he left they'd won more league titles under him than all other managers put together (nearly double, infact) and were record title winners and had 2 UCL wins and a ECWC, were 2 time double winners and a historic treble win.

In contrast Pep took over a Barcelona who were champions only 2 years ago and playing in a league with the same 3 title contenders most years (of which Barcelona were always one). He took over Bayern when they were reigning champions and then in Man City he took over the richest club in the world who were champions just 2 years ago, having won 2 of the last 5 title races.

Pep took over champions and contenders, teams playing champions league football with ample recent success and continued this trend. They won before him, they continue to do so after he's gone. Ferguson took over a club that rarely won the league before he arrived (and never had since) and gave them success beyond their dreams with Aberdeen. Utd were never minnows and Busby built their foundations as legends but Ferguson's era defined the team they are today without him they'd be another Spurs.

Pep is a brilliant coach but his achievements aren't comparible with Ferguson's.

  6. Donโ€™t get me wrong as a barca fan i love pep. But moving from the greatest barcelona team to Bayern, the to city and their greatest teams with unlimited money. Amazing coach but i think there are coached who would have been just as successful.

  7. No disrespect to both managers truly greats of the game but let's be honest Sir Alex Ferguson farm England for 26 years and got 13 league titles which is nothing short of great but then their's Pep ๐Ÿ˜… bro farm Europe for almost a decade less and still is just one league title short (for now)!!

  8. 7 premier league titles won as a manager is so fucking good but it still not on the same scale of 13 premier league titles. not when city have so many charges against them.
