I remember the French dominating us in the second half bar one half chance late on. Rewatching this, my memory was correct but at least the tournament banished the ghosts of Euro 2012
I'm English and I was supporting Ireland because I drew them in the sweepstake
after brady scored the penalty i thought that we’d win 4-0 and go on the maddest run ever
The crazy thing is if we won this we would've faced Iceland in the quarter final so we would've had a huge chance of making it to the semi finals
If Ireland payed like this we’d be playing in the euros next week easily
What a team we had, hopefully we can get back up to that level for the remaining World Cup qualifiers, imagine the scenes if we beat Portugal at the Aviva to qualify🙏🙏
