  1. NO!!! Christian Pulisic is not yet world class! Damn Americans are just like the English…overhyping promising young players. The boy isn't even 20 yet and you're already placing too much pressure on his shoulders. He has the potential to become world class, but he's definitely not there yet. Can we let the kid enjoy his football (soccer for you yanks) without being burdened by outlandish expectations??

  2. World Class? Are you having a laugh? LOL. This is why it's hard to take American's seriously when you say things like this smh. The kid scored 5 goals last season 5! lol.. Now compare that to World Class players such as Messi who scored 54, Lewandowski 43, Ronaldo 42, Suarez 37, Kane 35, Neymar 20 etc.. Not only that but these guys have CONSISTENTLY done this year after year after year. Pulisic's not even had 1 great year, let alone 1 World Class year. Messi and Ronaldo are in a completely different league to everyone and it's not even close.

  3. Pulisic is a player with a lot of potential. Dont think he's world class though. There are too many players who are better than pulisic that arent world class. He's like Martial/Rashford/Jesus/Asensio…. Potential not world class yet.

  4. He's far from World Class, jees give the him time to develop, he's only in his second full season playing champions league and you're already calling him world class. Ousmane Dembele isn't even world class. The closest player we can call world class who's that age group is Kylian Mbappe. Christian Pulisic is a wonderkid, I know America hasn't had many of those so i understand why people are getting too excited over it. He has the potential to be world class yes but you're getting a bit excited labelling him a world class player.

  5. "Christian Pulisic had a little something to prove — he kinda struggled in two [previous] world cup qualifiers." Nah, don't think so. In those two qualifiers, teammates would pass him the ball and then stop moving and see if Pulisic could dribble past the entire other team. Nobody can do that in soccer at this high level, the defenders are too good. That's why coach Arena said something like "we need other players to play at his level." The challenge is that Pulisic is so much better than most of our entire team that they're not sure yet how to play with him. See how Altidore passes the ball way behind Pulisic's breakaway goal. Pulisic's teammates can hardly pass him the ball properly because they're not used to how fast he can actually run — so they're timing is off. This will improve some with time.

  6. Talking about Pirlo, you are right teams are changing the way the recruit. You are talking about the Atlanta method which is good, but I also liked what LA and Seattle did with Rodriguez and Alessandrini: good player, without being stars, of European leagues that are not too old (a bit like Giovinco in a way !)
Anyway great show ! As usual, love from France guys

  7. For the Red Bulls it will still be tough, as they'll have less home-field advantages because of their place in the standings, but I think they may have a playoff spark.
