Caicedo’s challenges were reckless even before this. He had 3 other fouls that he was just shoving players from behind with no intention of playing the ball. Caicedo needs to be looked much closer. He deserves much bigger ban than 3 games.
I said it after the Bayern v Arsenal game and I got clowned on by Arsenal fans, but this game proves it. Arsenal are built to beat Bayern, but they aren’t a better team. Bayern would play and did play better against the teams Arsenal play. We beat Chelsea 3-1 while it was 11v11. That game midweek was a fluke.

Chelsea are quickly developing into the strongest team in Europe. Once they fully unlock their potential, I don’t see many sides capable of beating them. The key for them is maintaining discipline and avoiding unnecessary red cards. If Caicedo hadn’t been sent off, Arsenal would have been in for a heavy defeat.
