Chelsea had no Fofana, Tosin, Chalobah, Colwill, Palmer, Essugo, Delap, Santos, lost BOTH centerbacks during the game, had Caicedo, Enzo, Joao Pedro, and Reece James all playing through injury, and the takeaway is that this win doesn't change anything about them? Liverpool are really missing Diaz who scored 2 goals today. Liverpool sold a proven world class player in Diaz for a media created fake world class player in Wirtz. You can tell his team-mates don’t even rate Wirtz where they don’t even like to pass to him when he is free. Liverpool sure need Diaz’ creativity and his mazy dribbles with the ball, because all we get from Wirtz is safe one touch passes backwards. Would have rather Liverpool give Diaz the increased wages he wanted than waste 130 million on an overpriced overhyped Bundesliga level player who clearly isn’t good enough for the higher level football. It is crazy we spent so much on a player who has no evidence he can play well against top teams outside the Bundesliga.
