    Under this system, we’ll never see the best of James or Palmer.

    James excels at finding space on the flank and delivering precise crosses, but he’s being used as an inverted full-back, almost like an extra No. 6 when the team is in possession. Meanwhile, we keep criticizing our wingers for not scoring enough, but how can they when the full-backs aren’t pushing up the flanks to give them the freedom to cut inside?

    Palmer may be playing in his preferred No. 10 role, but the system is so rigid that he struggles to escape tight marking. At the end of last season, the setup was much more fluid—the front four were rotating, finding spaces, and that’s when Palmer was at his best. With constant movement, he could either thread passes or create shooting opportunities. Now, movement is limited because the full-backs stay wide instead of advancing to free up the wingers. It’s telling that Cucurella and Gusto often find themselves in better scoring positions than our actual wingers. How are we supposed to score more goals like this?

    Last season, we had far more penalty-box activity, which led to more penalties. I firmly believe that our strong early-season form was just a carryover from last season’s momentum. But as soon as the players fully adapted to Maresca’s system, we started struggling because it’s simply too rigid.

    I think this is the first time Maresca may have realised that executing professional game management strategies can actually win you games! sometimes just defend the lead even if you need to bring on 2 extra defenders

    We are back to winning ways now, lets keep this up, amazing comeback, I really wanna see more of Neto I think he deserves to start over Madueke. I had a Stake punt on us winning and got so worried when west ham scored but for once we were the comeback kings 😁

    Se référer à la religion quand on parle de phénomènes étudiés par la science peut sembler incongru. Et cela ne l’est que pour les gens à l’esprit borné. A propos de l’origine de l’eau de la terre, mol, en tant que musulman, j’attire votre attention que le Saint Coran en fait mention (tout comme il énonce des affirmations sur des centaines de phénomènes qui relèvent, selon la classification actuelle des sciences, de la psychologie, de la biologie dans toute ses ramifications, de l’astrophysique, de la géologie, etc, affirmations confirmées par les découvertes scientifiques contemporaines). Sur l’origine de l’eau terrestre :

    – le Coran dans des dizaines de versets dit que Dieu, Allah, L’a fait DESENDRE DU CIEL, c’est-à-dire du dehors du globe terrestre. Il parle de l’eau de pluie qui tombe des nuages mais il ne considère pas de facon très claire celle-ci comme étant à son origine. Ceci n’est-il pas en accord avec la science d’aujourd’hui ?

    – de même, le Coran affirme dans plusieurs versets : « qu’il y a des PIERRES qui, en se fendant, laissent sortir de l’eau » ,

    et « qu’il y a des PIERRES qui, en se fendant, donnent naissance à des cours d’eau ». C’est, en employant un mot moderne, les météorites. Ceci n’est-il pas en accord avec la science d’aujourd’hui ?

    At least this season we already have a solid foundation . Goalkeeper = not sanchez ;defenders = james – cucurela -tosin – 1 more consistent player ; midfielders = enzo – caicedo – palmer ;wingers: neto – 1 world class player ; Striker= Definitely not Jackson

    Choose Madueke over Neto on starting eleven is a criminal. Maresca trying so hard to prove that we are not in the tittle race. Such a looser mentality, not suit as Chelsea headcoach…
