  1. Rovers starting 11 isn't necessarily better than the other top teams in the league. It's their strength in depth that wins them matches. They'd a triple substitution of Burke, Byrne & Noonan just before the opener, no other team can do that.

  2. Great performance from rovers. Battered Pats in the first half without scoring. Pats had a 10 minute spell at the start of the second half but rovers just took control again and ran out easy winners. Some serious young talent in Rovers squad.

  3. Pats were so poor. They look clueless and lost. After 30 mins they looked exhausted and Rovers kept finding space. With exception to the 10 mins in the second half Pats did nothing. Rovers looked full of energy and there was a willing to play. The subs were perfect for Rovers and Brennan was unbelievable. Jack Byrne looked hungry and Noonan is magic. Think Kenny along with Lynch at Derry will be the first managers sacked this season.
