One of the biggest pre-game attractions was the chance to see the new mascot CAT make his Montjuïc debut. After being introduced the night before, the blaugrana feline leaped onto the field to the sound of Un Dia de Partit, one the most popular club songs, joined the players for the team photo and even got to take the honorary kick off!.

    Quin Pal tenir mascota, no feia falta… No era necessari i Ho veig molt cutre.. la broma catalanista amb el nom en angles es la guinda.. si s'havia de Fer una mascota podia ser alguna cosa mes representativa de Catalunya o de Barcelona, un Drac (sant Jordi) una salamandria (Gaudí)… Pero igualment, no m'agrada, veig que soc dels pocs a qui no li agrada el tema de la mascota, m'alegro de que agradi pero pero mí no es representatiu del que es el Barça. En tot cas, sempre junts, visca el Barça i visca Catalunya.
