    Rupino is disgusting. She wouldn't have been able to play soccer without title IV and she wouldn't be fighting for equal pay in women's sports. Yet, she's destroying women's sports by allowing men wearing dresses to dominate the field.
    She's such a hypocrite.

    The team won. They moved into the elimination round. (The men never get that far!!!) But ok, let’s judge the team for the way they handled that win.
    Let’s not forget Carli got to enjoy the money after the previous women’s soccer team fought to get, but she just wants to play soccer as she didn’t want to support her teammates for protesting for equal/better rights. Carli: your privilege is showing.

    Rapinoe only got through 2019 World Cup bc Dunn was behind her picking up the pieces. Although Rapinoe was “ back” from injury she had small telltale signs that things were not completely normal. Everyone tried to blame her for missing the PK last WC but credit needs to be given to the Swede goalkeeper for guessing the shot and forcing Rapinoe to switch from low to high mid strike.

    So true. Many of my kids teammates would do the same thing, while my daughter would be in tears distraught and wanting to be better over a loss or a tie. She didn’t understand why her team was not in a different mindset after a tough loss.

    Because Carli was a competitor and knew her job. I’m all for fighting for equality but to disrespect her country, and disrespect the military which I faithfully served in, Megan R deserves to go home a loser! Because she is. And more people hate her than look up to her. She set women back, instead of moving the conversation forward.
