Can Spain still win the World Cup?

Spain faces Saudi Arabia in its second match of the 2026 FIFA World Cup group stage after a shocking 0-0 draw with Cape Verde in its opener. With pressure already mounting, can Lamine Yamal and La Roja bounce back and show why they’re considered one of the tournament favorites? Does Spain have what it takes to lift its second-ever World Cup trophy, or are there already warning signs after a disappointing start?

  1. What this team really lacks in attack is the power and talent of Gonzalo García. He's the striker who would inject dynamism into their entire attack. Let's hope they realize this, even if it's too late.

  2. It's impossible for Spain to win the World Cup in America when Spain's aristoctratic government openly supports the Iranian regime, their socialist Prime Minister continuously insults the US President, and refuses to pay NATO dues. Plus, Spain is overrated and too soft to go far in the World Cup.
