  1. FCC is my club. I cheered every Messi assist and goal (his pk technique leaves goalies stunned). How could one not? He’s incredible. He really doesn’t employ fancy foot skills often, he just dribbles insanely close to his body and is super fast and agile, and insanely accurate. 36 and outrunning 19 year old men, incredible.

  2. Just look at how 19 French teams shut him down completely for 2 seasons. Never engage him, just clog the center of the field and keep 2 players in zonal defense at around 3 to 5 meters. Let him drop deep to get the ball. Block passing lines. Defensively and tacticaly the MLS has a lot of room to grow. Let the opponent, whoever it is, beat you. Don't make it easy.

  3. For almost twenty years the best managers all over the world have been trying to stop Messi. The only way you stop him is if he is having an off day, its pretty much out of your hands.
