  1. I am sooooo tired of hearing it

The team that came on to change the game against Senegal and the team that beat USA weren’t old teams.

As well – only foreign media keeps saying Belgium β€œgolden” generation didn’t deliver – we Belgian do not think like that at all, we’re super proud

Get your facts straight, be more original, do your job.

  2. Why are you guys still talking about the golden generation when it comes to Belgium.. Only 2 players from the golden generation were in the starting 11 vs the US and thats courtois and tielemans. Do you guys not watch these games?

  3. Calling Switzerland mediocre is a very negative way of describing their performances in the past 10 years or so.
I would call them reliable. Consistently performing to their expected level, but also punching above their weight class at times. They got to the knockout stage of international competitions 7 times in a row (4x World Cup, 3x European Championship), which of course means they also qualified for those tournaments in the first place.
I agree Argentina are the favourites, but if they assume Switzerland is going to be a walk in the park, they might end up in a nightmare they can't wake up from.

  4. Mediocrity "Switzerland". I would argue its rather "Experience" πŸ˜… Fits the narrative better that they controlled most games. But you do you "mediocrity" constantly beats instability.

  5. Switzerland and France are literally the only two European teams that managed to reach every knockout stage of a major tournament since 2014. To call Switzerland mediocre in the past 1-2 decades is just ridiculous, I'd rather say "consistently hard af to beat" England and Spain had to go to the penalty lottery to kick them out in the past years, the only slip was the loss against Portugal. They're on the same level as teams like Belgium or Croatia – only that their coup is / will be this year.

  6. nope… out of these 4 nations, morocco is the closest but it still need one or two more wc editions before being considered serious contender (and it needs to produce at least another 2-3 hakimi-level talents who starts regularly for them during this period)

norway is the next closest…, but it cannot always depend just on haaland alone. As gd a striker as he is… if the english can mark him completely out of tomorrow's game, then norway can kiss goodbye to progressing further… let alone winning the wc

  7. Don't diss Belgium too hard because of Egypt.
A reminder that Egypt almost kicked Argentina out. It is a harder team than what you would suspect. If they hadn't crumbled in the end, they would have gone through as well.

  8. I really don't get why they keep disrespecting Belgium like this. Sure, we do have a few older players but so do the other teams, so why just say that about us? But by all means keep doing so, you saw what happened last time you did πŸ€«πŸ˜‰. Having said that, it's more likely now than ever for a new nation to win the WC. Not every favorite will make it out the QF and/or SF. If Morocco surprises France, it will give the other 'smaller' nations an extra boost of confidence as well and then anything can happen really. Besides, it's also very rare to win 2 consecutive WC's or to win back-to-back WC and Euros, so essentially Spain and Argentina could have a disadvantage here because of that, but that's not an exact science of course 😁

  9. Belgium still is mocked by people who can't see. The trainer Rudy just has to show these arrogant podcasts to his players and the will, once more, make a statement in beating Spain. You'll see.

  10. Again, bs on Morocco, have a real good look. Sure, it's France who's the favorite. But also, yawn, they were since before the tournament started. However… if there's one team who has the possibility to spoil it for France, it might actually this Moroccan team.

  11. Golden generation part 1 now for Norway. We have more talents on the way, so we will be better in 2 and 4 years imo. Much more solid and experienced, with better defence and more options.

  12. Okay logic says Spain vs Belgium…i will admit that but IF Belgium still has that fire from the last 130 minutes ? We wont play in our own 16 , we will have mid to high press we players that are fast AF , like Uruguay but better…Spain could be in trouble because besides Urugay…nobody dared to play their own game…Belgium would…meaning no 10 Spanish on our half doing whatever they want…2 guys , a winger and a Rom or Pardo near the midfield will tie up 3 Spanish atleast. And remember what Belgium is best known for ( not the golden generation…. ) but we are a an attacking team that will defend and counter like crazy , remeber Japan in Sochi ? remember Senegal ?…only thing we need is the players beeing fired up , not like this group stage , but like we are used to…either way this game is gonna be advertisement for footbal.2 teams goin all in , attack… gonna be great to watch…and honestly , Spain is great but if there would be an upset…i wouldnt be too suprised, Same goes for Morocco vs France and Norway vs England….on paper , yeah the big teams , irl , it is a magical game…
PS : i get the comments on our coach , i was frigging p… off some games but either he is lucky AF with the subs or he is a fortuneteller cuz it was spot on every time , even vs USMNT , starting CDK who hadnt touched a ball in a good way…he scored a brace…ok thanks for proving me wrong but against Spain , it has to be a fast and real striker like Rom or and i would prefer this : Pardo and Lukaku as supersub again…imagine the game beeing tied at min 80 and suddenly a granite wall that keeps getting better every match…come on…u would see 2 or 3 subs from Spain just to try and contain that Belgian legend.

  13. BEFORE i start the vid. YES , i am Belgian so they got my full support but if u think Belgium ,Morocco , Norway or Switserland will be a walk in the park for any team ?…One could argue u need some football basic knowledge , this is the game where everything can happen…Also NEVER underestimate a squad fighting for their flag…Best example this WC : Cape verde.
