    It did(!) work. And for those who may still be skeptical: what you need to do now is search for “Galatasaray Real Madrid Drogba” and watch in awe how our beloved Didier scored the third goal in Gala’s victory over Real in the first leg of that year’s CL quarterfinals.

    It did work. Obviously Sneijder and a 35-year-old Drogba simply aren't enough to win you CL. They also had other great players, however, the team was nowhere near the level of the teams in the semi-finals. Sneijder, Drogba, Selcuk Inan, Burak Yilmaz, Altintop, all great players. But let's take Real Madrid, for example, they had Ronaldo, Benzema, Bale, Ozil, Marcelo and many others that I don't even care to name. Gala got a great squad, but obviously it was nowhere near to get them to the final. In 13/14, Gala was in the same group with Real Madrid, Juventus and Copenhagen. Real Madrid won the CL that year, Juventus was in the final next year with pretty much the same squad, and Gala still come on top of Juventus and kept going. If anything, it worked really well for them, they even surpassed their potential. Only thing is that they weren't the greatest squad around, not by miles.

    yeah, you are trying to explain GS wins with luck…. hahahah, misses a penalty, and win a game that coming from behind in UK. It is pure strategy and talent. Second lol XD they tried before… 2000 won the super cup against Real Madrid. 😉

    Drogba and Sneijder did work.. they won the league and got to last 8 of UCL .. nobody was expecting them to win UCL being in the Last 8 was not a failure

    Bro thats only 2 players and drogba was old. Galata now like 3 4 superstars and rest very solid team. I think you shouldnt be sitting on that chair, you dont seem to know much

    She said nothing of any substance, but bluffed her way around overused clichés 😫😫

    Which Chqmpions League did this lady watch? The one that only 4 teams have won the past 10 years or what unpredictability is she referring to here? 🤦‍♂️
