  1. This is entirely wrong, but hey, it’s an American talking about football 😂😂😂

Concacaf presents one of the easiest routes international tournaments. Imagine if the US had to play through the same teams as England, or Nigeria, or the Germans.

And as for the athletes thing, there are many countries that focus on other sports as well or more than basketball ball.

In England, running and cycling are ahead of football in participation between the ages of 16-24.

In Germany, ski jumping, biathlon, track and field, and automobile racing have higher popularity than football.

In Nigeria, football is considered the national sport YET look at where they are. Competitive in tournaments like the US, not ahead of the US.

  2. Even new Zealand got to the round of sixteen its not impressive getting to the semi final or final is but the round of sixteen isnt and football isnt the biggest sport in new Zealand either

  3. The amazing thing about football is that your country's capability and performance in the sport is directly related to how much the population love it. So the best teams are the best because the people love the sport the most. It makes it into a truly national and international game, that is a real test of country against country.
To beat europe and south America, you will have to love football more than those nations

  4. Soccer is actually one of the cheapest sports for youth to play in the USA. The reason that the percentage of MLB black players has gone down over that last decade is because of how expensive youth sports has become.
