  1. Let's just give Klopp the season no one else has ever had and we'll change his mind by the last game of the season at Anfield and he can lift the league title infornt of fans for the first time. I hope Klopp changes his mind

  2. I’m a red and I want him to go to Bayern. First of all, if he came to Liverpool and did well, Bayern would just pinch him or Real Madrid for that matter.

If he goes to Bayern, he can learn how to be a manager because he’s only in his second season. He has a lot to learn and he needs to learn how to play a back four system that dominates possession – opposed to the back five counter attack team he currently employs. He can do that at Bayern, refine his tactics and then come to anfield and dominate.

Besides, no one wants to be the guy to follow Klopp, even if the squad is miles better than the state fergie left utd

  3. It’s sad that the big 5 have no interest in making their leagues more competitive. Anybody with a modicum of success HAS TO go play for or manage the biggest, richest clubs. Would be nice to see some top men stick around at the smaller clubs and build something.

  4. Let him focus on Leverkusen winning the Bundesliga trophy first, than he’ll decide where will he go.. maybe Liverpool (🤞), maybe he’ll go to Bayern, or maybe he’ll stay at Leverkusen for another year or two…

  5. I'm one of the few that's hoping Alonso stays. Really hope he rejects Bayern and Liverpool. Or whatever future jobs become available. Leaving Leverkusen, this soon, after he's beginning to create something special, would be a huge shame. Personally, I want to see, how far he can push Leverkusen. Not just try to retain the league, if they win it. But, go very far in the champions league also. Semi finals would be a huge achievement. Something Emery did recently with Villareal and something I want to see Alonso do with Leverkusen. So, I really hope he stays. At least for another 2 years. Leaving so soon, while he's trying to build something special, would be a shame.

What people don't realise is, maybe he's doing so well because not everyone is keeping an eye on his work, up until now. There's way less pressure in managing Leverkusen than if he went on to manage Bayern or Liverpool. The pressure and stress of winning would be quadrupled at Bayern and double or maybe tripled at Liverpool. He should stay and try to win more than just one Bundesliga. They're in for the second best treble. If Leverkusen face Liverpool in the Europa league, that'll be an interesting watch. Liverpool fans will call it "an audition" but I just hope Leverkusen win the Europa League as well. Porto, in 2011 are the last team to win the league title and europa league. So, it doesn't happen very often and I hope Alonso achieves this

  6. As a liverpool fan I hope we dont see Xabi for at least 3 to 4 years. Way, way too soon. we need someone the fans can inevitably compare to jurgen first before we start brining in real coaches

  7. I know that since klopp is leaving it would be great to bring xabi, but is been so long since a bundesliga team actually played this good, i hope he stays there another 2 more seasons at least
