Cabo Verde Made Africa PROUD in World Cup Thriller vs Argentina

Cabo Verde’s World Cup DREAM RUN comes to an end in their Round of 32 elimination to Messi’s Argentina. Possibly the game of the tournament so far Cabo Verde game back TWICE with goals from Sidny Lopes Cabral and Deroy Duarte. Sidny Lopes Cabral’s goal being one of the World Cup GREAT goals that will be remembered by a nation and football fans for a long time. Cabo Verde’s run saw the legend of Vozinha grow, and amazing Group Stage performances against Spain, Uruguay, and Saudi Arabia. What can we expect from them moving forward?

  1. Argentina could not play the first game at all in the last match. And Argentina has changed the meaning of counter attack in football, so slow and stupid!!! He is always weak at the head and Amy Martinez was confident in the last World Cup and this time he is arrogant. I don't think this game and match planning will make it through the next rounds. I like Messi so I support the team. But such a disorganized performance of the team is really disappointingβ€οΈπŸ‡§πŸ‡©πŸ‡¦πŸ‡·β€οΈ.

  2. Cabo Verde should be greatly lauded because no one genuinely expected them to beat the champions. What they achieved is bigger than we can articulate. They made Argentina sweat hard over 120mins. Argentina didn't win, they didn't beat CV…they survived CV!

  3. African big boys don't play with commitment. They mostly lack self-belief. Just look at Ghana went down against Colombia. I didn't even bother to watch the highlight for that, but I had to watch the one for Cape Verde. We saw how Senegal lost with a two goal lead with just 10 wins left. The inexperienced Senegal coach pulled out three of his best players by wrongly assuming the game was already won. Stupid mindset.

  4. lol I had to pull my phone out of my pocket when I heard George Santos πŸ˜‚
I was like oh no, now he’s pretending to be a football analyst. Wrong George Santos

  5. Michael Lahoud might have harsh words but he’s speaking the truth. There’s an inbuilt inferiority complex where Africans nations are just happy to compete but there’s no winner instinct. The players switch off with no leadership. Senegal were a disgrace, a game they controlled 2-0 up with 5 minutes left. Have they not heard of in-game management? Agree about Cape Verde, what surprised me was how good they were in extra time, taking the game to Argentina playing high tempo high quality passing football and that 2nd goal was simply sublime.

  6. No better way for Cabo Verde to close off their fantastic World Cup debut, they gave the World Champions a legendary fight and they will be remembered forever as the team that nearly sent LIONEL MESSI’S world champions argentina home 🀯🀯🀯

  7. The ref was terrible last night. Clear evidence of FIFA wanting to protect Messi and ensure Arg on deep into this World Cup. It was so obvious. Romero made 3 bookable fouls, not one yellow. Messi continually won freekicks near the box. The ref even allowed him take a quick free shot on goal when the keeper wasnt even ready, had he even blown his whistle???

  8. Much Love From Morocco, what Epic Game ,Heroic Vozinha, cape verde you fought with heart and brave, you Made Africa Proud πŸ‡¨πŸ‡» β€πŸ‡²πŸ‡¦

  9. Rarely does a single player outperformer Messi, but for an entire Team to outperform Messi and the entire Argentine team is an absolutely incredible performance by Cape verdeβš½πŸ†πŸ†πŸ†πŸ†πŸ†

  10. PROUD OF CABO VERDE πŸ‡¨πŸ‡»πŸ‡¨πŸ‡»πŸ‡¨πŸ‡»πŸ‡¨πŸ‡»πŸ‡¨πŸ‡»πŸ‡¨πŸ‡»πŸ‡¨πŸ‡»πŸ‡¨πŸ‡»πŸ‡¨πŸ‡»πŸ‡¨πŸ‡»βš½βš½βš½βš½βš½βš½βš½βš½βš½βš½βš½βš½βš½πŸ¦ˆπŸ¦ˆπŸ¦ˆπŸ¦ˆπŸ¦ˆπŸ¦ˆ

  11. Cabo Verde you truly showed remarkable fighting spirit and strenght. Thank you for a great football performance! Respect from Romania!βš½πŸ™

  12. Our pride lies in having a country outside of here, and the owner of YouTube will have to help us release YouTube in Cape Verde and Angola to obtain the necessary credentials. There are only two openers in Brazil and Portugal; others are needed. The owner of YouTube will have to help Cape Verde and Angola; they will need domain registration so we can access YouTube in Cape Verde and Angola. The people of Cape Verde and Angola need help

  13. Cabo Verde's triumphal journey not…ended UP!
    It just began!
Their tremendous, masterly plaid appearancce explosed the whole world, stolen millions and millions fans' hearts!!!!
    What the talanted guys!!!!!❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀

  14. Why is Cape Verde's football so good? I know why, I know this secret. Cape Verde is officially translated as δ½›εΎ—θ§’ in Chinese. Although the Chinese characters are different, their pronunciation is the same as δ½›ηš„θ„š, meaning the feet of God. So, can it not be powerful?

  15. Practice harder and come back next time and you WILL be in the finals, so damn good already..
Very good defense with committed defenders and an attack that made one of the best teams struggle..
It was pure joy to see Argentina struggling with Cabo Verde.. Please keep up with what you are doing!
This will by far be the best match of this World Cup and it is an inspiration to all that it is not impossible!

  16. it was inspiring and I bet $80 on Cabo Verde to win $1200 That would've been sweet

but…. I thought Cabo Verde played too defensively when they should have gotten off first instead of having to even things up every time

  17. No inferiority complex-to me this was the the most telling comment from the panel’s guest.Attitude similar to Sunil Gavaskar,Viv Richards,Imran Khan, etc.when playing at Lords. Not applicable just to cricket, but in our daily lives.Well done Bubista and co..

  18. A lot of my friends said after the round of 32 was set, "Great job by Cape Verde, they get their moment in the sun, etc., etc., now they'll be curb-stomped by Argentina."

They… were not curb-stomped by Argentina.

Cape Verde came within an ace of pulling the biggest upset in international soccer since Joe Gaetjens' diving header snuck past Bert Williams. I expected them to play well, but not THIS well. I think now they'll have a better team going forward as they draw in players who are Verdean in origin but no longer live on Cape Verde. What an incredible run, and they won everyone's hearts.

  19. The β€œunderdog” showed the whole world that no matter how small you are, if your dreams are big and your discipline, strength and guts to never give up are high, you can achieve anything, if this doesn’t convince you I done know what else would. Cabo Verde you are in our hearts, whe hope to see you in the next World Cup and keep on fighting, you are special
