Matchday 20 in the Bundesliga comes with a closer race at the top of the standings as Leverkusen dropped points allowing Bayern Munich to close within 2 points of their 1st place position, while Union Berlin picked up a much-needed win to distance themselves from the bottom 3. The matchday kicked off with Dortmund away to Heidenheim with the visitors looking to continue their win streak and strengthen their hold on their Champions League position. Bayern will host Gladbach as they look to solidify the change in the storyline about their struggles with their opponent in the past. Leverkusen has a prime opportunity to bounce back when they travel to face last-place Darmstadt. Leipzig will be looking to avoid falling off the pace of the top 4 when they host Union Berlin.
