  1. The league definitely benefited from the influx of foreign players. There was quite a lot of padding in this clip, would have preferred a shorter clip with only the very best.

  2. You don't see goals like this anymore. Why? Because they've messed with the weight and the flight of the ball so much. You can't score great long rangers any more. The ball is too light. Before the ball had weight and could carry. The new ones can't.

  3. Watching Henry is like watching poetry in motion. Everything he did was breathtakingly elegant. This coming from a Chelsea fan since 1995.

  4. Never watched football as a kid but I feel like the goals were better back then. There are a few goals from today like Suarez’s back heel chip goal that’s amazing. But goals seem more entertaining back then. From long ranges with insane bends to Messi-like dribbling to the goal. Everyone seemed to be a star.
