  1. A call from Trump, and suddenly FIFA lifts a red-card ban for a USA player. Imagine Qatar or Russia being anywhere near this kind of situation — Western media would have spent the next two weeks screaming about corruption, political interference, and football being hijacked by state power.
But when it happens around the USA, everyone suddenly becomes calm, balanced, and “contextual.”
No matter how hard Western media tries to manufacture the idea that this World Cup is a success, the double standard is disgusting. The same people who lectured Qatar and Russia about sportswashing, nationalism, and political agendas are now pretending not to see what is happening in front of them.
Just because travellers are getting big size of burgers, steaks, oversized coffee cups, it does not make a World Cup successful. It only proves that hypocrisy becomes acceptable when it is served western-style.

  2. A rightfully convicted criminal in the White House makes a phone call to a Mafia boss at the FIFA and as a result all football rules are nil and void. A scandal.

  3. it wasn't a RED card to begin with. on field referee didn't even call it let alone giving a yellow. VAR had clearly violated the protocol and hence the decision. get educated about VAR rules

  4. All FIFA World Cup countries should protest against this and not play any games.
And i think the FIFA PRESIDENT is TRUMP'S PET DOG!!! 🐕‍🦺🐕‍🦺

  5. If you had any dignity you should be ashamed. The footballing world is looking upon you with embarrassment. For this to happen is the death knell for FIFA. Now country associations will band together and break away from the corrupt organisation known as FIFA.

  6. Thats why I don't argue with idiots who don't understand the rules of football.
There is no reprieve. The red card decision has NOT been overturned or rescinded, meaning it was the right call by the match officials. What is appalling is that It has been suspended to be served AFTER the World Cup. Absolutely nonsense!!! Paraguay's Miguel Amiron served his red card, two South African players served theirs, Belgium defender Nathan Ngoy served his, all by missing their countries next matches. What makes Balogun's different? A corrupt Infantino being influenced by outside forces to be the judge, jury and executioner.

  8. The USA player knows he had committed a serious foul, he just laid down on the pitch hopping the referee will not show him the red card. Many players behave in these way around the world – we can have our own view, ultimately, Balogun himself knows best. This is not longer a sport but an entertainment – all it's take is a call.

  9. Wonder how much WH had to pay for the red card to be lifted , this has never happened but then again FIFA has shown its greedy side once again if Balogun playes he has no honor and neither does the US and should be banned from playing another world cup for life

  10. Belgium has an opportunity to file a case against FIFA for their decision with the International Sports tribunal called TAS. They can judge and overrule the decision of FIFA within 48 hours. What makes it special is that the game is already whitin 24 hours so the decision of TAS could come after the game is played. If that happens and TAS rules in favor of Belgium it would mean the USA will lose the game by 5-0. So all depends on the fact if Belgium files a case or not. If they do the USA will have to decide to take the risk of getting a 5-0 verdict
