Kevin De Bruyne will be out for four to six weeks due to a hamstring injury, Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola says.

De Bruyne, who was injured in Wednesday’s 2-0 home win over Aston Villa, is set to miss City’s key Premier League fixtures against Liverpool, Tottenham and, in all likelihood, Arsenal next month.

  1. This is the problem when the coaches system is only as good as his players.. you lose a key player and everything falls. but I am sure Guardiola will spend more money to get players.. He has followed the money since he was at Barcelona.

  2. Ahaha no worries.role out the big squad.dont get me wrong king kev is one of our best players and I am gutted for him personally but ,problem, what problem.for utd, and S.pool it would been panic stations.we got this !! for a city fan of 43 years this is little problem is like taking candy off a Rooney.

  3. Bernardo needs to step up like he did when City won the league in 18/19. If he doesn’t, City aren’t winning the title, because their creativity and attack is no longer what it was back then, especially since Aguero is still out. More importantly, Foden needs to take advantage of him likely starting more, and start turning his potential into consistently good displays.

  4. I think we can still win the League- been without KDB before in 2018-19 and had Bernardo in that central midfield spot. Could be a blessing in disguise in terms of confidence for Bernardo, only scored his first premier league goal this season on Wednesday

  5. 1:01 how dumb is this mimbo… can’t even remember which Manchester club KDB plays for. Why can’t they hire people that actually know the game and can remember what player plays for what team without needing a cue card

  6. Manchester City's titles hopes are over. Sorry but no Kevin, no Aguero, Kompany gone, Sané gone, Fernandinho, no Silva. This isn't like 2 years ago when Manchester City were able to cope with an injury to KDB.

  7. Well that is a ''good'' news for me as Manchester United supporter, but don't forget Man City have a very good bench. Players that can play his position like Bernardo Silva and Phil Foden. I think that will not be a huge problem for them.

  8. If United can stay healthy they’re wining the League this year for sure. Citys KDB & Aguero out, Liverpool all CBs, Jota & Firminho mentally out, LC Last years golden boot Vardy out!
