Great that he's coming back to the club as a club legend, but disregarding that this isn't the right decision. He isn't a top manager.
Just a little bit premature to ask ´if Chelsea win the CL´? They have to improve dramatically to win it.
I think Lampard will be better off building a managerial resume off his own record rather than having to rely on handouts based on his past career as a player. Drop down to championship or go abroad to the low-rated leagues, say Schalke in Germany or Sassuolo in Italy or Montpelier in France or take Southampton from the championship when they go down and bring them up, stay with them for three or four, move to West ham and go up from there… I'd say currently Lampard's reputation as a manager has taken a sharp decline from his days at Derby County
This is all wrong. If Frank is any kind of manager, its a youth-focused one who needs to time to develop his squad. Not a transitional one who'll improve results straight away. Kept Everton up by the absolute skin of their teeth.
