The whole thing was messed from the start, I aint an expert but heres the main problem to begin with. For some unknown stupid idiotic reason the runner up is chosen first, from what I can see its just cos they can put them at the start for the first match. But doing that, as shown in the redraw, Real Madrid had the least chances of drawing an opponent eventho we won our group. The group winner (8 balls) should but put into one damn bowl and the others on the side. That way every group winner has a chance during any draw to be picked an opponent because left to the end is not fair at all. Would have been simpler, pick group winner first and make them play away, then in the next bowl their possible opponents.

Why is MU made a victim of UCL draw?
They should go back to the old fashioned draw procedure. This picking all seeded teams many times for every unseeded team only causes confusion and mistakes just as it happened. Put all seeded teams in one pot and if the game doesn't match due to same country or same group team they will play the next team drawn.
