The Tennessee Titans have FIRED head coach Brian Callahan after a disastrous start to his second season and it is something that needed to happen. Callahan was hurting the football team and most importantly Cam Ward. Now with Callahan gone, the Titans can focus on actually making some improvements and hopefully that will happen with Jon Bones Fassell as the interim head coach. However, we could see Mike McCoy, as a former head coach, take over that spot to keep everyone else in their current roles. No matter what happens, everything going forward has to be about helping Cam Ward, who has been struggling even more in recent weeks.

What happens next same thing that has been happening we will be shit until Amy Adams Strunk gets out of the team. Women should not run anything sure as hell not a sports team.
Other than Diddy who tf needs a boner for 36 hours…
They definitely need to stop going for "the next big thing…" and get someone who has been there done that… McCarthy is that guy. Plus, his name is Mike lol. Heck I'd be thrilled to have Mularkey back at this point.
id run through a wall for vrabel. I wouldnt run through tissue paper for callahan
Nagy, Leftwich, Flores, Arthur Smith.
Just let jeffery run the def and pollard run the offence. Cox run speaical teams…probably be just as good.
Also, I think we're beggers trying to be chhosers. This is absolute mess. Besides a few pieces on defense & maybe Ward, there's not a lot to demand asking for the best.
Finally some good news 😊
Thank God Brian has been fired, I did like seeing squirm at the post conferences tho, like just sit in it. When he started blaming Ward tho, when his plays are damn near diabolical, it's time. He was gonna scapegoat Ward for his lack of abilities & try to tear the rookie down. He's left enough of his crappy imprint on the team, this was going to fat.
Is it safe to say Bill Callahan was just as pitiful and putrid as his son was? Even with the improvement of the unit this year, it was still underwhelming compared to the narrative everyone was sold when he was hired…
Will they get a boost tho? Cause with this garbage ass roster, highly doubt it. 😂
My list, in no particular order, is Kingsbury, McCarthy, or Brady.
No matter who the HC is, I want Jim Schwartz back as DC assuming Cleveland cleans house.
I will never ask for a young, offensive-minded HC for this team again.
Too much yelling man, it’s too much.
Hire Jon Gruden
BRIAN FLORES 🔥🔥🔥
I don’t think anyone is saying it’s cams fault alone.. but he is playing bad also, and he’s not as good as a lot people blew him up to be.. here come the excuses though
Eddie George is not leaving Bowling Green mid season to be a interim coach
You did call it Tyler! You said it even earlier prior to the season, that if everything is going horrendous the Pats game was the sealer. IMO the Titans should of just fired him at the start of the season. We can kind of felt already that this wasn't going to turn out great. The players just simply didn't respond to him plain and simple. You can even see it in those inside access videos. Brian was probably a smart X's and O's guy. But motivating the players and setiing the standard is another thing. There was no energy and we can see through these games. Coaching predictions, i think we will definitely go with experience. Like you said it's not flashy, but another Mike will take the job with Mccarthy taking over, and just hopefully stablizes everything until a younger experienced coach can take over.
Who the fuck said Josh McDaniels??? That guy has been a proven loser as a head coach. He had Tom Brady. Tom Brady made Josh McDaniels.
Interviews should go in this reverse order – #4Flores, #3 Kingsbury, #2 Brady, #1 McCarthy. Giving the team a chance to listen to everyone in the hierarchy of likelihood to get the job. Now I suspect Mike McDaniel will be available at the end of the year. I personally would hire him as an OC not a head coach. I also, would try and go get AJ Brown back from the Eagles as soon as possible as well.
One more thing….for any fans blaming Cam or wanting to get another QB WAKE UP! Think about it even if he was to blame (which he is not), even if he was making avoidable mistakes (which he's not) and even if the Titans had an above average backup (which they don't) Even if Cam had shown a bad attitude and was a bad teammate (which he's not), even if the other players had lost faith (which they haven't) what would be the benefit? Would they be better with the backup or another available QB? Would that help them in the long run? They aren't going to just turn around and magically become a competitive team with a new QB, they would stink as bad or likely worse so hang in there give it time as the Titans as they stand have plenty of time before they are a QB away from greatness. Again you would have to be a moron to somehow think Cam is the problem. The situation he was put in is horrific as it often is when your teams is bad enough to get to draft a top QB but more than anything the gameplan made it so much harder.Cam has shown at 3 separate stops in college that he can adapt and thrive and get better and after just 1/3 of a season people are seriously ready to blame him? It hasn't always been like this. There was a time and not even all that long ago that rookie QB's were allowed to grow and get better they were allowed to struggle in their first year before the bust police started talking. People also need to focus on the man, this is a guy who fought every inch of the way to get to where he is, he has checked every box and is already beloved by his teammates and the front office. This isn't that stud QB that expects to sail along on their talent alone and not put in the time. Any failures will never be because he didn't put in the effort and didn't care. Everything about him screams franchise QB and so little success so far isn't going to change that.
I dont know why so-called fans are so quick to give up on QB's. it has never made sense. You draft a QB high you are putting a lot of yout teams hopes on getting the guy and a third of the way through their first season youre ready to call it? What the hell is the dude supposed to do? On the rare occasion his o-line holds firm he can't help but panic that it wont stay that way. But it's not Cam that is the problem and despite the o-line being terrible and his receivers dropping pass after pass the thing that has doomed the Titans so far is the play calling with the newest playcaller not doing any better or looking any different from Callahan. Instead of letting their top pick stud QB make plays with his arm more often they are for some reason determined to hand their success on Tony Pollard. Despite not getting anything on the ground they continue to force it. Sadly the only time Cam gets to show what he can do with his arm is when they are way down late in games and before anyone says the reason Cam has shined in those moments is because the defense softens up with the lead they should realize with the Cardinals for instance they absolutely could not afford to let Cam march them down the field making throws yet that's exactly what he did with each drive becoming more and more important for the Cards to make the stop. Same with the Raiders who despite having a fairly large lead enough time was on the clock to at least make things interesting and makes no sense for a defense to just give up the yards. One thing that did become abundantly apparent is after all the hate thrown Calvin Ridley's way after the first few weeks with people saying he wasn't their #1 was way off base and the Raiders game showed just how important he was after leaving a few plays in. Hopefully if he is still injured next week Dike will get a chance to fill his shoes and open it up.
Those turning on Cam are idiots and it's doubtful any of them have actually even bothered watching the whole games. In case those people forgot the NFL is a hard transition for rookie QB's and the fact he went #1 means he was drafted to the worst team. Cam hasn't put up the flashy stats but watching the games it should be pretty obvious no rookie QB could put up massive numbers with this current team. If someone in the front office came out publicly and said "yeah, weve been trying to call the worst plays for him to thrive and we've been trying to make it as impossible as we can on him" that would be easier to believe than if they said they were building a offense to best suit him. They are the most predictable offense in the NFL. Everyone on the opposing sideline knows exactly how 90% of the Titans possessions are going to go. They are going to run the ball on 1st and 2nd down for 2-3 yards combined and then finally call a pass play where the rookie QB has to convert the 3rd and long. Despite showing he can move the ball down the field if they let him, let him get in shotgun and read the defense and spread the ball around but instead they continue to make life as hard as possible on Cam Ward.
You did call it weeks ago he would have been gone after 4 games with me
I would try and lure bill belichick back to lead our team into the future!!!!!
