Bosnia and Herzegovina have DONE IT! 🇧🇦 Bosnia beat Italy 4-1 on penalties to secure their place at the 2026 FIFA World Cup. It will be Bosnia’s first time back at the tournament since 2014 which happened to also be Italy last world cup… After going down 1-0 to a stunning Moise Kean strike in the first half, Inter Milan defender Alessandro Bastoni got a red card in the 41st minute leaving Italy down to 10 men. A late goal by Haris Tabakovic brought the game into overtime where missed penalties by Francesco Esposito and Bryan Cristante helped move Bosnia forward to their first world cup in 12 years! What is going wrong for the Azzurri?

"An entire generation hasn't seen Italy in a World Cup" is the wrong phrasing and one of the main reasons why they're out. It's an entire generation that never watched the World Cup. Italians only watch the World Cup if Italy is in. And even then, they only watch the games with Italy in it.
If parents don't watch the World Cup with their kids, regardless of Italy, their kids will not dream of playing that competition. They will just think of the World Cup as the competition that they've been missing out for so long. Doing so they will grow fear and frustration instead of an inner drive.
Then you can add the blind dinosaurs leading the federation and the league. 2030 wilo be no different. 2034 probably too, if these things son't change.

Bro Dollarumma's goal kicks and clearances out of the box were horrific all game. When you're down a player, YOU CANNOT give the ball to their goalkeeper and last defender each and every time. You have to reach at least one of your players a few times. He was horrific for wasting all balls going up and garbage on pk's for the first time
