  1. Y'all watch any other games? This team was 2/2 on clean sheets going into this game. The whole point of Terzic ball was pragmatic defensive football. Get these uneducated takes out of here

  2. Borussia Dortmund don’t have a star studded team, but realistically speaking they should be capable of challenging for the Bundesliga this season. Bayern Munich are expected to improve from last season, they’re still in a period of transition as they’ve recently hired a manager that was relegated from the premier league and yes talent isn’t an issue in their team (Harry Kane Jamal Musiala Michael Olise Joao Palhinha Joshua Kimmich etc) as they’re technically supposed to be favorites to reclaim the title, they’re not as dominant as they used to be and this league is much more open now than it was a decade ago unless they’re able to get back to their best. For me I’m backing them to win the title, but I just wanna give a reminder for the people who don’t watch the Bundesliga on a consistent basis, the league is much more competitive and exciting now compared to a couple of years ago. Bayer Leverkusen have kept majority of their squad from their title winning season and also Xabi Alonso is still their manager and they’re expected to be very good once again this season even if they won’t go on a 50+ games in a row unbeaten streak, after 2 games, they’ve already lost more games than they did last season and their way of playing, I understand how good they are when it comes to scoring late goals as that worked for them a lot last season, in any other season they would’ve lost more games and this time around their luck is going to run out, you can’t keep getting lucky every game, their way of playing is genuinely not sustainable enough to win back to back league titles and I wouldn’t be surprised if they don’t finish in the top 4 as defending their title will be so difficult.

Many people are sleeping on Borussia Dortmund to win the title and from last season, there was a couple of changes in their squad in regard to the managerial position. They weren’t at their best domestically last season and they were very inconsistent in the Bundesliga, despite that, it didn’t stop them from surprisingly making it to the champions league final and obviously there’s many differences between the league and European competitions, it’s very clear that they want to prove to people that their run to the final wasn’t a fluke and that they’re the real deal. Anyone who watches this team, they play excellent and fluid football going forward and that alone makes them a threat for any team they play against, the issue with Borussia Dortmund is that they’re too inconsistent as one game they win 3-0, everyone talks about “whether or not they can compete for the title”, next game they lose and people start calling them “bottlers” and say that “they can’t compete for the title”. They should be able to challenge for the title, as I’ve said better they’re not consistent enough to win the Bundesliga and that’s because you don’t know what version you’ll get from them and in order to win a league title, since there’s 38 games in a season, it’s all about having a level of consistency being able to get results and be good for long stretches of the season even if they’ll drop points here and there. Here’s the thing, as we saw in the champions league last season when they reached the final despite being in the group of death in which they topped even though they were expected to finish bottom of it and before they bottled the league in 2023 is that Dortmund are at their best whenever there’s low expectations for them and that could bode well for them when competing for the title as once the bar starts to raise for them, that’s where we see a different version of their team.

  3. I feel like its disingenuous to say that bvb hasn't been focused defensively when terzic WAS our more defensive coach and with hummels in the back things were a lot more solid. Not to mention. Sule is trying his best but schlotterbeck is our cb. Anton is fine and needs time to adjust but he's no hummels. But yes, they still need some help in the back.

  4. Come on stop it. Dortmund couldn't beat a midtable, team a team that got nothing to play for, at the very last league game at home and they couldn't do it
Dortmund are the Spurs of the Bundesliga
