There was a similar 'goal' back in 1970 when Chelsea played Ipswich. Note the tell-tale sign reaction of Chelsea's No 11 Peter Houseman who throws his arms down in frustration that the ball hit the side netting, before he suddenly turns to the referee in astonishment when he hears him blow his whistle for a goal.

I have 2 possible theories on what might have happened
1, there was some sort of hole in the net either made on impact or it was already there.
2 , the net stretched on impact to fit the size of the ball
They debunked it as a hole in the net

It counted, but it should have not counted…. since the ball already went out of bounds before it even found the hole in the net.

The ref saw it good during the game, the team that scored didn't say anything of course, while the team that got robbed was informed from the booth and try to get the ref to change the result. As rules say, he could not take a different decision after he ruled it good in the first place, now the FIFA, along with the Bundesliga, is trying to decide what to make of it.
