Bev Priestman apologizes, takes responsibility for drone incidents

Canadian women’s soccer coach Bev Priestman removed herself from Thursday’s Olympic Games opener against New Zealand and two team staff members were sent home after two drone incidents. Priestman speaks about the decision, how much of a distraction this is for the players, if she’s expecting more sanctions to come down, and more.

  1. I'm proud of the players, but I shame of the coach, don't talk too much!
Not only the coach herself, Canada also affected the value of the sport!

  2. ……The players are not Cheaters but unfortunately our coaches are Cheaters. Spying is not acceptable.
It tells the world Canada loves to Spy on other countries. How low can you get ? I feel sorry for the players. But our coaches have given Canada a black eye on the world's stage. We are no better than the Stazi or the KGB. Other nations now know you cannot trust Canada. Honest to your face and spying behind your back. ….

  3. How both Canadian coaches can cheat to there players and there country. Soccer is a beautiful game and its sad that the Canadian coaches tarnish the game. Canadian soccer should be over hauled.

  4. I just can’t understand how anybody would think this was okay? People have learned to be such robots that they absolutely can’t think … we are losing the ability to think. Somebody please respond and tell me any conceivable way that something like this could happen? If more than one person was involved then how could they all be that stupid?

  5. Blablablabla they are doing it for years! Never get punished I’m glad she’s gone. And make your excuse to all the other countries you were spying on ons. And stop talking of leadership.
