backham made a nice story out of it
but he was just no longer good enough

    1. San Jose Earthquakes
    2. Sporting Kansas City
    3. D.C. United
    4. Real Salt Lake
    5. Seattle Sounders FC
    6. LA Galaxy
    7. New York Red Bulls

    12. Montreal Impact
    13. FC Dallas
    14. Colorado Rapids
    15. New England Revolution
    16. Philadelphia Union
    17. Portland Timbers

See! Go Dynamo! DALE DALE DALE DYNAMO!!!

  3. Seattle Sounders?

I happen to live in L.A. so Galaxy are our local team. My son is a big Manchester United fan BTW, he's got a Rooney jersey hanging on his wall.

  4. Hey, if you're looking for a team that is okay, then you might wanna try the Houston Dynamo. They are playoff giants, have the smallest salary cap yet still kick butt, don't lose all too much but don't win every game, and are shaping into one of the better teams in the MLS. AND we have the left-footed Beckham (AKA, Brad Davis)

They're a team that can win championships and if you want, I can give you a league ranking, 1 to 19, just reply back.

  5. LA Galaxy do spend the most on salaries but they also play the most attack-minded style of all MLS teams. You should support the team your old Manchester United player Beckham played at and root for the Galaxy!

  6. I've lived in Manchester and supported Manchester United all my life an now i'm planning on supporting an MLS team too. I'm knew to the league and don't know the clubs very well, so i'd like some opinions of those who know the league top to bottom

I don't want to pick a top team, or money-bags like La Galaxy who buy all their players and pay stupid wages (Aka manchester city). Something like i'm the Aresnal / Liverpool equivalent of the English Premier league. Not the best, but not terrible.

  7. Did you not read my entire comment? Bandwagoning is when you jump teams due to their success. I was Spurs fan before anything, then when one of the all time greatest Spurs came to MLS how could I not follow him?

  8. I started watching MLS 3 seasons ago (when the Rapids won the cup). I was following TFC at first (naturally, being from Ontario), and I think that's really what got me into MLS, just actually having a soccer team where I live. But I jumped ship to the Galaxy when Robbie Keane came over, he's my all time favourite!! (Tottenham was the first team I ever started really watching)

  9. I agree…seeing this overpayed, posh, primadonna leave the league was the best story so far. To those who say he "helped" the league need to realize, paying a playing a player $250,000,000 dollars to make appearances, doesn't "help" a league. All he did is promote this league as a retirement home to aging, past-prime stars.

  10. He really did help speed up the progression of the MLS. Being one of the first star players to come over not only brought other stars over, but improved the game overall here in the U.S. Great guy and hope he has a future as an MLS owner!
