The Majority of Algerians and I am one of them think, Mahrez shouln' have score the 3 rd goal. But at the same time, could the Algerians truste the Austrians? Algerian footballistc history, says NO. Algeria played a crazy football match, what a magical football match. Mahrez said, "Respect this game. That's why he scored the goal in the 93rd minute." This player, Mahrez, is the one who used to spread his magic in the English league. He was the one behind the miraculous Leicester City crowning in the English Premier League. He is from the people of Manchester City and reached the end of the Champions League for the first time in the life of this club. Mahrez is called the magician.
The Algerians allowed the whole of Iran celeberate for around 3 minutes….before Austria miraculously came back !

Sorry, but even as an Austrian, I have to admit this was one of the poorest games of the tournament so far. It lacked intensity, creativity, and attacking intent for most of the 90 minutes. Both teams were far too passive and seemed more concerned with avoiding mistakes than creating chances. After taking the lead, Austria completely dropped back and defended deep instead of trying to kill the game off. The chaotic finish and dramatic scoreline made for great entertainment, but they don't erase how dull the majority of the match actually was.
The Algerian football team, with this special match against Austria, just proved to itself (Where there's a will, there's a way). I hope the pain of losing their first match against Argentina 3-0 is healed for the long term.
This whole analysis of Portugal game was as is from people never played football. It was very simple game from players prospective. Portugal lost the midfield area totally. Whole team created 1 goal opportunity to Ronaldo who was in offside. The defence also was under level. I know that all these incompetent and world wide unknown people wants to talk about Ronaldo, but all of us who actually understand football are crying of laughing.
Why nobody mentioned the flag that was playing with us and helped us score our first goal lol

Fun fact story: the world cup in 1982 in Spain saw the scandal game between Austria and Germany where they literally played 70 min anti football! In the halftime they aggreed that the current result 1:0 for Germany is fine for both to advance into the k.o round! But Algeria was really betrayed because this was the only result that should not have happened for them, they had to go home. As Austrian it was the most shameful and embarrassing game Iโve ever watched, nobody felt really good!
Maybe today the Algerians who still remembered that particular game thought of a little payback when they scored the goal in overtime! But they were celebrating a little bit to early๐๐. Anyway they progressed so everything is good for both! And this time everybody could be sure that the game was not rigged!

I would like to thank the Austrian national team for the match.
Algerian fans celebrated Austria's third goal even more than Riyad Mahrez's goal, because a draw was the best possible scenario for us to avoid Spain. It was also the best outcome for Austria, allowing them to stay in the tournament.
I wish both teams the best of luck for the rest of the competition
