As much as I like Balogun being back, I think it undermines the US Soccer community, despite them not having a hand in this. The USMNT has done wonders to gain a lot of credibility for US soccer, and this takes the shine off of their work if Balogun does play, which is a no-brainer as far as Poch is concerned. I'd actually love to beat Belgium without Balogun playing, because I think it would be the biggest statement the USMNT has ever made to the world. But if he does play, I'll be right there celebrating him scoring.
