Tbh I imagine football as a game of tag if you have the ball you're running and your teammates are helpers to basically getaway from the taggers and when the opposing team has a ball I am a tagger I think like this bc it makes me way less afraid of the ball but when I reach them I just say to myself "I lied" basically telling my brain that this isn't a friendly game of tag

I went from rec to npl in one season to mls next the next season after playing for only 2 years by playing street football and juggling and zth gives good advice too but mostly street football is the best
