The comments you hear on every platform discrediting Kane and Bayern are lazy. I bet most people who say those comments don’t even watch Bayern or the Bundesliga.
Bayern have had as good of a start as you could ask for. Their problem the last few seasons have had a lot to do with having a thin squad and injuries hitting them come spring. Kompany is rotating a little more but they might need to make a move come January.

If Harry cane wasnt English & Scott mactominay wasn't Scottish they would have been in with a shout. As it is the last English man to win was Michael Owen. Kane, Haaland, and Mbappé are certainly the three strongest strikers currently, but of the three, only Kane can be counted among the world's best players. Neither Mbappé nor Haaland are complete players. Harry Kane, on the other hand, is not just a near-perfect center forward; he's a perfect number 10 with the qualities of an 8 or 6. Mbappé and Haaland are both "merely" their teams' finishers, but have no impact if they don't get assists. It's different with Kane.

What people miss when they talk badly about Bundesliga is the fact that Bundesliga is catching up on La Liga in UEFA 5 year rankings. If you exclude Season 2021/2022 results which will drop out after the season, Bundesliga is only 1,5 points away – in La Liga you have 2
Top top level teams with Barca and Real plus a very good one with Athleti but other than that Bundesliga can compete and the games are not easy wins for Bayern. Bayern is just on another level this season – in CL they could show it also against Chelsea, although Bayern can play much better than that evening. After the games against Arsenal and PSG we will know more. I am a Bayern Fan, so I am biased of course, but I think that the game against PSG during club WC showed that Bayern can compete and I think that Bayern would have good chances to win, if Musiala wasn't injured in that game. At the end it doesn't matter if they would win or not – eventually they lost as we know – but I think that Bayern showed at this stage already that they would be competitive this season and they even evolved since then.

Kane plays in every position there is. And you got rwo ruthless wingers, and versatile players like Laimer, Gnabry and Kimmich/Pavlovic/Bischof in the middile. They are all bloody attack oriented. I cant imagine what will happen when Musiala makes his comeback.
