Bayern Munich win THRILLER over Real Madrid

Bayern Munich vs. Real Madrid was tee’d up to be a thriller, with Vincent Kompany’s side bringing a 2-1 lead into the second leg. Every expectation of an exciting match was realized in the first minute as Arda Guler took advantage of a Manuel Neuer giveaway, getting things kicked off early. In a back and forth match, Pavlovic, Harry Kane, and Kylian Mbappe all scored in the first half, before Luis Diaz and Michael Olise grabbed the game-winning goals after a Camavinga red card sent Real Madrid down to 10 men. Poppi Miller, Troy Deeney, Nigel Reo Coker, and Mike Grella break down an instant classic, and talk how good Bayern Munich actually are this year.

  1. Real team and coach complaining about the ref is pure comedy gold. On at least 3 occasions Real should have been booked – 100% (not even talking about the first leg)! One foul in this game was Vini against Kimmich, a clear yellow. And Ruediger should have been booked for his foul against Gnabry and the second foul against Stanisic even was a straight red and Ruediger should have been sent off. That certainly would have changed the game – and it would have been the right thing to do! Unlike sending off Camavinga in the 86th minute with minutes to go, when since the 60th minute Real and no more gas in the tank and Bayern attacked relentlessly. And let's not forget Güler's free kick – brilliantly executed – but it should have never been given in the first place, because there simply was no foul to begin with – whatsoever. And what a completely useless VAR? What do we need these bozos for, if they blatantly fail (in both legs) to call out clear and obvious fouls in critical situations. Was Camavinga's yellow harsh? … maybe, but the referee is not to blame for Camavinga's stupidity, he himself is. And the referee does not have to keep track whether Camavinga already had a yellow, Camavinga has to, keep that in mind and not act mindlessly stupid – he is no rookie, but an experienced player. The only difference, no Bernabeau bonus – the entire Spanish league can sing a song about that, because Refs are simply to afraid to experience the Real shitstorm, which, for the most part is utter bull*. Apart from that, Camavinga's attitude was no different than that of the entire Real team (except Mbappe), winers and certainly sore losers on the field and after the game … and so is the Real coach and the entire pro Real Spanish press, while everywhere else in Europe, especially the big football nations, England, France, Italy, Germany the verdict is crystal clear – Bayern is the worthy winner, and if anything all the way up to the 86th minute the game really looked rigged in favor for and not against Real. Not that stats win a game, but 69% possession and double as many completed passes also speak to that truth.

  2. its idiotic to think that Real needs a midfielder to have more control over the game, they don't care, they want BLING, they want to sell t-shirts ! they don't want Ronaldinho because his teeth aren't straight, Real is a Model Agency, and of course, they win, but not as a team, as a collection of desirable objects, throphee footballers, Perez has the same disease as Trump, its all about appearance. in the mean time Barcelona produced Xavi, Messi, Iniesta, Pedri, Yamal, and more.

  3. Real Madrid, despite their results are the greatest waste of talent there is, football is a team game, Bodo Glimt are a better team than Real and they are tenth in the Norvegian league, Under Perez Madrid has been a destroyer of football.

  4. In my opinion, Bayern will beat PSG and win the title. You have at least 5 players who can score, and you can feel the high level of team spirit. To me it's the perfect team this season

  5. Yeah, they had Cristiano before. People love to talk about the modric, Kross and case midfield, but the truth is they were still looking for the guys upfront every chance they had. The difference is that now the guys are worse. They did not lose their identity, in fact, they play the same way they did when they won 3 UCL in a row. 4 in 5 years.

  6. PSG was beaten by Bayern THIS season. Bayern is forever the underdog but truth is … every game it’s someone else scoring and Madrid’s two goals were a present by Neuer and the ref too. Only the third goal was fair and square.

  7. The games were much closer than they should have been. Olise should have gotten a penalty at the end of the first game. Arda got a freekick which wasnt a foul before. Stanisic got fouled by Rüdiger and wasnt recognised which lead to Mbappes Goal. If u consider that Bayern would have beaten them much clearer. PSG will be harder but the Bayern defense isnt THAT bad.

  8. As a Madrid fan, Im impressed with Arbeloa. He's done more than I thought he could without having an experienced playmaker in the middle of the park. RM will not be legit contenders of the Champions League and maybe even La Liga without bringing in 2 world-class playmakers in the midfield

  9. If Real played with todays team in Madrid thay would win.YOU ARE OVERATING BAYERN AND YOU WIL SEE THAT IN NEXT GAME WITH PSG…DON'T FORGET THAT BAYERN DOMINATES THE WORSE LEAUGUE OF EUROPS TOP FIVE !!!!

  10. Bayern play Barca’s high line also but they’re much better organized and makes it work. Barca’s biggest mistake is the defenders usually stay in the middle trying to trap opponents with offside. Very stupid and it costs them all the time against the best opponents. Flick is one stubborn mfkr he never adapts. He always dies by his sword.

  11. For 11+ minutes not a mention of Arda who scored 2 goals and played an amazing game. Nonetheless they think Judy was the best player for RM.

  12. Not enough talked about Upamecano he was crazy. I had a perfect place in the stadium to see the tactics. Guy played no 10 role in dominant phases. His pass to Kane was worldclass. And he had Vini in his bag without conceding his 3rd yellow. MOTM in my opinion
