  1. I didn't watch the game, just the highlights, so I don't know if there was some missing context like the player who crossed the ball was offside when it was played to him, but why was the Olympiacos goal called back and a penalty awarded to them instead of just letting their goal stand?

  2. Two problems: Why in the world would you pull back a goal to give a PK to the team that scored the goal? Just give them the goal they already have!
I realize it may be too subjective but they need to change the rule around penalties like the one Rashford won. Yes he got there first, but with that touch there was no way he was getting anywhere close to goal if the keeper didn't touch him. It can still be a foul, just make it an indirect!

  3. That Ref shouldn’t be allowed to ref champions league or anywhere near Europe in general. ALSO WTF is the point in VAR. That second yellow incident was clearly a dive.

  4. I remember when Rashford was carving out name for himself at a very high level. Then he dissapeared.. if we were to take out the first 3-4 yrs or his carrier, and when he just didsapeared that quickly from superstar level to just basic level, he was decent player. The problem was that everyone mnew he has superstar level IQ, speed, vision, skills. Barcelona knows a thing or 2 about muscle memory lol. They snatched Rashford while he was a sleep, and they knew with the quality of passers and receivers on this team are simply considered top 5 player st their position; Rashford would start shining. i always had him under radar of becoming top 3 player in the world.. i guarantee, if he spends another 3 years in Barca, two timss at lwast he is going to make the top 10 balon d'orr if not top 5 then to 10 nominee.. and i cant wait for experts to fomment that im out of my mind.

  5. If he didnt give the 2nd yellow, nobody would have complained. Not even Barca staff would have expected that. Whoever's star😒 shines the brightest it all comes down to: at the end of the day Barca was gonna win anyway. Yellow was harsh, this shows ref didnt see what has happened, but acted on the "scene," on front of him, and assumed at least yellow he deserves..bad timing as Olympiacos was only a goal down. 6-1 would have still been the score with 11 players. But now they feel cheated.. had it been when score was 4-1 it wouldnt have been a subject to even talk.

  6. Wow this is exactly what happened at the Louvre. Great calls from the ref this game. So unbiased and neutral it’s such a pleasure to watch a referee masterclass completely devoid of any corruption.
