Copa first leg – Barca didn’t have Pedri (which is a KEY player for ball possession) and no natural left winger (Raphina and Rashford injured). All of the passes were going to Yamal’s side and the left wing was non existent during that match and also Barca survived New Castle which is by far more intense than Atletico Madrid. Sooo this is a different week with different mindset and skill from Barca.
1. Lamine on a poor run of form…where, exactly, is his form poor? Last CL Games he scored. Was very influential against Atletico both here and in the second leg of the copa,and creates a clear chance every game thereabouts?
2. Also, did we deceive to flatter or did we play a 10-man side who completely withdrew from the game and sat in deep banks in front of their goal? it’s not liked we had no chances either, we just have the misfortune of having to watch Ferran. Some better finishing and/or passing from a COUPLE players in this game and it could’ve easily been 3/4-1.
